Pencil eyeliner:

Another tip to apply a bit; First make a shape with a tape eye shadow and trace it with your liquid. 

Gel eyeliner: 

There is a heated debate in the world of beauty when it comes to hot eyeliner vs. traditional liquid eyeliner, but I'm sure they can't exchange. Each has very different features and endings. Liquid eyeliner lovers can't get that fast liquid line. Gel eyeliners is more generous and sociable, allowing you to build your line up to the desired amount of drama. Gel eyeliners can be handy even for those who are not so skilled in liner application. More exceptions are allowed, and it can be used to create crisp hard lines or less dramatic, smoking effects. I also like the dotting gel eyeliner along the kill line to create the illusion of a deep whipping.
